The KC Chorale and Camerata vocalists will be performing 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 906 Padon St. in Longview.
The chorale consists of 30 men and women, and the Camerata features voices of women only. The combined groups will be performing a wide variety of pieces written for vocal ensembles.
Dr. Jim Taylor, director of choral activities, will be directing the concert which will include two gospels songs, one baroque, a 14th century chant, a 19th century love song, a Christian revivalist composition and a rock-influenced church anthem written by Taylor and published in 1999.
“I try to give a broad range of styles in the concert repertoire,” said Taylor in reference to the upcoming performance.
The concert is free to the public and will count for students requiring recital credits.
