Friday, Aug 21, the 2009-2010 Rangerette team made their first team appearance at their annual performance of Showoffs. 36 new freshman Rangerettes were introduced by assistant director and choreographer Shelley Wayne. After a performance by the new KC cheerleaders, the freshman Rangerettes performed their try-out version of the Rangerette field high kick.

Wednesday’s 11 a.m. classes will be dismissed for KC Kickoff this week as part of the annual Welcome Week festivities.

A year after topping 5,000 registered students for the first time in school history, KC shattered the 6,000 mark at the end of registration Wednesday night.
